Last updated: 16 August 2026
This policy explains how Stratiq Consulting ("Stratiq", "we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you visit our website, contact us, or engage us for consulting, brand, product or go-to-market services. We are the data controller for the information described below.

What we collect
- Contact details you give us — name, email address, telephone number, company and role — when you email us or complete an enquiry.
- Correspondence — the content of messages, proposals and project communications.
- Client and engagement records — information needed to deliver, invoice and account for our services.
- Technical and usage data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and referring source, collected via server logs and any analytics we operate.
We do not ask for special category data and would prefer you did not send it to us in unsolicited correspondence.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To respond to enquiries and provide services — performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering one.
- To operate, secure and improve the website — our legitimate interest in running a safe and effective online presence.
- To send occasional updates about our work — your consent, or our legitimate interest where you are an existing client. You can opt out at any time.
- To meet accounting, tax and legal duties — compliance with a legal obligation.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate — for example website hosting, email, cloud storage, analytics and accounting — with professional advisers, and where we are required to do so by law. Providers act on our instructions under written terms.
International transfers
Some providers process data outside the UK or EEA. Where that happens we rely on UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses with appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept for up to 24 months. Client records are kept for the duration of the engagement and for six years afterwards to meet legal and accounting requirements. Website logs are kept for a short operational period.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to request erasure or restriction, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. To exercise any of these, email hello@stratiq.io. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Security
We apply organisational and technical measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we hold, including access controls, encrypted transport for our website, and provider agreements. No online service can be guaranteed completely secure.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
